A friend has collected so much discarded lengths of deep sea fishing line from the shoreline in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area.
Discarded plastics in the ocean are having a disastrous impact on t he marine environment, especially as they break down and become micro-plastics. Micro-plastics are now found in every stage ot the food chain. Plastics are creating havoc from the the beginning when they are produced to long after they have been discarded.
