I spent the month of September 2025 at Kvitbrakka artist residency on Berlevag in northern Norway. I was joined by Norwegian textile artist, Ingrid Larssen. We spent the month experimenting with using different textile techniques on kelp we had collected and processed there.
It was an amazing month of weaving, coiling, twining, stitching, sculpting, plaiting, knitting, netting, dyeing seaweed. I also explored some new forms for my sanded vessels.
